Office 2007 Keyboard Shortcut

with 3 comments

office2007

Selanjutnya jika anda ingin mengganti font, tinggal klik ‘ff’. Mudah ya!

How to compress ppt file

with one comment

Ever wonder why power point file (.ppt) become significantly increase when you insert image files? PPTTools give a concise explanation.

The easy way to squeeze the file size is by utilising ‘Compress pictures’ before saving.

1. Open the original ppt file ( in my sample the size is around 18MB)

2. Select Save as, Tools, and Compress pictures

compress

3. The new file size is 3MB (compression ration = 80%)

Why Exercise Boosts Brainpower

without comments

link from Slashdot

“Tests on mice showed they grew new brain cells in a brain region called the dentate gyrus, a part of the hippocampus that is known to be affected in the age-related memory decline that begins around age 30 for most humans. Researchers used magnetic resonance imaging scans to help document the process in mice — and then used MRIs to look at the brains of people before and after exercise. They found the same patterns, which suggests that people also grow new brain cells when they exercise.”

On some occasion you have created ODF file from OpenOffice but later you decided to remove OO from your PC because you need to free up some space or you’ve downloaded ODF file somewhere from the internet and now you need to re/read the file.
Obviously, reinstall OO will solve your problem. However this small tips will do the trick. Look for ODFReader extension and you can easily open and read ODF file on Firefox.
Now, if you need to save your ODF file as PDF, you need to download Primo PDF.
